Damn Seats!!!!!!!!

Okay just wanted to know something thats been buggin me....Do our cars passenger seats come auto in any package???......Never really realized it till recently my girls been complaining and complaining its been driving me nuts......Any decent $$$ solutions??? Dont have too much in the pocket due to the season ......[mad][headbang] PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

My passenger seat has the exact same automatic functionality as the drivers seat. I didn't even know thre was maunual seat in the A4s. What packages do you have on your car?

My passenger is manual as well. I only have the premium package.

AHHH I feel the same way! I've got a fully loaded B6 USP and my gf gets into the car and has to adjust the f*cking seat manually herself...total BS. Honestly a BMW would NEVER leave something like this out.

I'm at the point where I'd rather have a manual driver seat adjustment and an auto passenger seat if it had to be one or the other...I've been pretty angry about this for a while now, haha.

you sure about that one? my friends' 3 series have manual passenger and some even driver seats. albeit they are 325's but still

Yeah, I was in the market for either a 3-series or A4 and the Bimmers don't come with power seats standard (for driver or passenger) so Audi's not alone... German manuf. are in the midst of cost cutting right now due to the weak dollar.

tell her to stop whining, how many times do you need to adjust the seat anyway?

it's not worth the $$$, time, and effort

on the bright side, you save some weight by not having power seats

Thats totally wrong. My friends 330i doesn't have heated seats!!!! he didnt even thing to look and ask about it thinking it was a automatic options. Also mercedes doesn't come with leather standard, it uses pleather! You have to choose leather as an option.


I think you have to have the auto drivers seat so you can have the memory seats and mirrors.

Dude some girls just LOVE to mess with this shit all day. Girls go crazy over 3 things in cars: 1) Leather Seats 2) Power Seats 3) Heated seats.

Think about it, when you cant provide Power seats in your car they start questioning your ability to provide for them [hail].

Man, if your GF is complaining at this stage of your relationship, imagine what wedded bliss will be like! I speak from experience; 30 year anniversary on the horizon.

My B6 A4 1.8TQM only had manual seats with seat heaters. I added the power to the seats and memory when I upgraded to the S4 Recaros.

my brother's c240 has manual sliding seates with only power tilt adjust for both driver/pass however my audi has premium package with full electronic adjust for both driver/passenger...he's pissed

my 05.5 a4 ($30500 sticker) have power driver and passenger seats. I think it has a lot to do with the year and the way they combine the packages.

On our 2007 B7 2.0T, the power passenger seat was part of the Convenience Package.

Perhaps you could buy a seat and install it yourself. It probably wouldn't be cheap though.
