ye the levels good , whetther the manuel says less oil or not id continue with 6 quarts but was just curious as to whats reccomended. I dont see as to how it cant be 6 qts as jvw vr6(2.8) take 6 quarts, and on mine it seems perfect.. but its all good :)

Yeah the owners manual says 5.5 but I use 6 - 6 1/4 quarts each time I change mine. I also use a pretty big filter.

for my 12v the manual says 5.3 quarts. That is with the regular sized filter. 6 i think might be pushing it a litlte bit unless you have the oversized filter or the 2.8 30v takes more oil.

Yes 5.5L without the oil filter.

@rwc0920
If you jack on the proper side, more oil will come out of the engine, 5L jacked from the driver side, and 6L+ on the passenger side.

Isn't the drain plug on the driver side? So next time I should jack up the passenger side, yea? Guess I'll have to wait another 4k miles before I do it again, properly haha
