I guess this is a question, but more of a query.....I've replaced all 4 wheel bearings within the last 6 months and I've gone off feathered summers to perfect winters. I still get a whirring noise when I'm driving. Starts at about 10mph and keeps going. Doesn't necessarily get louder the faster I go, but it actually seems to quiet down! My question.....what are the chances of the diffs going on these cars? I've got 178k KM. What else could it be other than the diffs?

sometimes my brakes make noise like that when its cold or wet out.. but that is usualy from a standstill to like 30mph. so idk. i wouldent worry till the diff blows.

ignorance is bliss[:D]

yeah.....that's what I want to do, but they're still good for at least another season or 2. I have to get new summers in the spring so I'll go for something a little quieter and see what kind of difference there is. I was just curious as to if the diff's going is a common occurance.....thanks guys!
