Preview of New B7 Vorsteiner Hood

Vorsteiner decided to make a Carbon Fiber Hood with vents for the B7 market. I got the pleasure of having the first production hood and I wanted to share the hood with everyone before I get it painted. I am painting everything but the 2 side vents.
PS. Dont mind the stock wheels the car is going through a huge transformation.

Ide love to see a silver carbon fiber, or the classic black carbon fiber look, I would just leave it like that! with the black roof and that it would look awesome!

I have 2 options which I cannot decided. 1. Get the titanium package roof rails and also get the window trim which is black or option 2. Powdercoat the window trim and roof rails.
It is hard because I know that it is damn expensive to get everything new from Audi.

Do you know if they plan to keep the vents closed or will it be cut open?

As far as I remember, some of the M3 Vorsteiner hood came with the vents but they are closed. I guess people were complaining that the water got in their engine bay and messed up some components so it came closed and leaves the customer with the choice to whether cut it open.

Our turbo is about the size of your fist. No reason to even buy a turbo timer.

well not the turbo but the exhaust manifold er whatever on the left side of the engine, go for a nice fast hard drive at night and open that hood up bro, and the glow from it lights up the whole engine bay, its crazy. I light cigs off it when I forget my lighter haha

Hmmm...not to sure about that hood. I really liked the subtlety of your og cf hood. I'm sure it looks better painted but I still don't know. Also regarding painting your roof. A friend of mine did some awesome pchop renderings of my car (white avant) with black roof/brushed rails & mldgs ([down]), blk roof/white rails & mldgs([down]), black roof/blk rails & mldgs ([down]), blk roof, a & b pillars / blk. rails & mldgs ([up]) blk roof, a&b pillars/ blk mldgs shaved rails([up][up][up]). Something about the rails throw off the look of the blk roof. BTW Pchop renderings kick ass!

I painted my trim. Waaaaay easier and about 7 bucks all together with paint and tape ;)

I like the hood! I personally would have made the side vents wider and maybe no center scoop. I could probably grow to really enjoy it though. Do we have any other vented hoods for the B7 at all? Carbon fiber or not?

For the people that asked unfortunately I don't have any retail prices right now.
To answer some questions the reason why I went this hood and didnt change my original is because I wanted something different and aggressive look for my new setup. I know the hood isnt for everyone, but some may take pleasure in the look.

Yes I have new wheels coming it was just hard to do the specs because the brake caliper is alot bigger than my original so I needed a full 20 inch wheel this time instead of the 20inch barrell and 19 center

I snowboard and I am getting a snowboard roof rack so no rack would kinda suck. But it does look dope on some cars but it wont match the look I am going for.

the side vents are fine, the lines of the middle are fine, but that scoop IMO is poorly designed.

I am upset. Being a former E46 M3 owner with a Vorsteiner carbon hood, I am upset with the design. I wish the hood had looked more similar to the BMW designs with wider vents and no center vent. I was lookin forward to the release of this hood but no anymore.
