speedo glass part # [Archive]

anyone know what the part number and where i can get the glass that goes over the speedo? also how do i get it out? thanks

I just looked it up in ETKA, and unfortunately, the instrument cluster is ordered as a single piece. You'd either have to buy a whole new cluster from the dealer (yikes) or you could try and find a used cluster in better cosmetic shape that doesn't work and swap your lens. I've also heard of people using some kind of scratch repair compound (stuff made for glasses) and getting decent results.

dang, mines is also scretched up and theres cig ashes inside =/

yea mine has dust but compressed air might help.. whats that glass stuff you were talking about called?

LOL. i have the same problem. i have ash inside. is it not possible to take the cover off?

I'm sure it's possible to take the cluster apart after you remove it, you just can't order the plastic lens separately.
