Tire question

This question has nothing to do with the Audi.

My wife just bought a 2007 Chevy Aveo and she wants snow tires on it. Her tires are P185-60R-14 on the car. Will the 185-65R-14 tires I have in the garage fit her car? These are only used one season and I am hoping they will work rather than buy a whole new set! TIA!

Well it looks like 185/60/14 is the recommended safe tire size for your vehicle. I think you could pull off the 65 sidewall, but no guarantee's. 65 profile could possibly rub on the fender wall/lining since its a taller tire. Just give it a shot, drive around the block see if you feel/hear/smell any rubbing of any sort.
