Geez, I cant believe that thing is still sold out at alot of places. I would check Frys or a Toys R Us if you have one in your area. The game stores are always sold out since kids and everybody and their mother seem to hit up those places alot.

Wal-Mart, Target, would be good bets and you just may get lucky. If I find one then ill let you know since im always out and about shopping around for BS.

My sister just sold hers because she didnt play it much after a month. Did you want it brand new or would a used one be ok if it had the box and everything?

In anycase, just keep this thread updated because if you want, I can pay for it if I find one if you really wanted me to. Just need to pay me back obviously =)

ive been hitting up walmart and target for the past couple weeks but never get lucky. went to gamestop last night and they said they werent going to bring any out til the day after thanksgiving. im going to try my luck there on the morning after but im not going to camp out for it.

Just an FYI - Target Greatlands stores usually receive bigger shipments than regular Target stores. I got ours last December at the Greatlands in San Ramon. I just asked the supervisor in the electronics department when they expected the next shipment - they're pretty open about letting you know when more are coming in.

Try FRY's in Palo Alto.....I seen a lot there about a week ago!!! FOR REALZ - call'em first just to verify! But FRY's are now carrying them!

Another way to do it is make friends with a manager at a Game Stop store and they will usually call you when they get one in and hold it a few hours.[:)]

wish i saw this a week ago..target stores had wii's and usually it takes alot longer for them to sell out..keep an eye out for our sunday circular..if a wii is advertised in it..means we are getting a shipment of them in..this past sunday the last wii was sold at 1:38pm..so you dont really have to camp out for them anymore.but illl keep an eye out since i get all ads in advance.

I just bought a used Wii with original box, 3 games and extra controller/nunchuk for 3 bills from a guy thru CL. Check listings...there's a bunch for $300 or less, some brand new unopened.

I know a guy in the southbay who modded mine and my cousin's, great work, all games work so far. Uses authentic Wii-key. PM me if you want his contact info.

*Since you have a newer Wii, modders will tend to charge more since it's more difficult to mod.

I have an authentic Wii-key chip so it costs a bit more than the generic copies. It took me about an hour or two the first time around (being super careful) and probably 30 minutes the second time around. I don't recommend doing it if you don't have soldering experience...the solder points are tiny!!
