View Full Version : Does anyone elses browser go constant ad updating?

11-13-2007, 01:01 PM
My browser window for AZ has a constant loading circle and the bottom is says "Read pagead2.googlesyndication.com" and does not stop and the page never completes loading.

I never had this issue before with the old AZ setup.

Winston, we have made some changes to the site this weekend and wanted to see if you or anyone else is continuing to have this problem.

AZ was repeatedly shutting down Firefox on both my computers, but it seems MUCH better today. Not sure if the changes would have affected this.. but if so, THANK YOU [:D]

The original problem is gone but I still get script loading errors every so often on this site.

Please keep me updated with any errors or issues you are experiencing. Post here, PM, or email me the errors and details if possible.

Thank you.

When Firefox shuts down, I get the error message popup window with buttons to close, report, more details (or something along those lines). Would anything in the "details" be helpful to you? If so, I'll check it out next time it happens.. which is every time I view AZ on either Mac.

Yes, you can email it to me. It's going to be a lot of gobble-dee-guck.

Have you tried browsing AZ in Safari? It doesn't crash for me.

For some reason the pictures don't auto-shrink anymore in threads even though I have that setting set in my options and have never changed it.

Same here. I really liked that auto-shrink feature.

I'm currently at work and have Firefox 2.0.0.10 and Windows 2000.

I'll check at home tonight on my iBook (OSX 10.3) and Thinkpad (WinXP), both running Firefox.

Yes we're looking into that.

OK all, the auto-image-resize feature in threads should be working again.

We're also trying some new fixes to eliminate the posting issues and browser crashes. Please update us with any further bugs or glitches.

Just wanted to let you know the pop-ups are still coming up. Just got one from tribalfusion for a free laptop.

1. download installl spy bot search and destroy
2. update the definitions list
3 run and remove all adware it finds
4. use mozilla firefox to browse the net instead of IE.
