Nice...I just picked up an S4 bumper and plan on doing the same RS4 mod to it. What type of mesh are you going to be using and where are you getting it from?

Keep us updated on the progress and post pics! Good luck

Yours is going to look more like this when done. Your pic still has that center bar. Just make sure that bumper and putty work is baked before painting. Otherwise the filler will shrink during curing and you'll be able to see it through the paint.

You guys gotta search for this one. Search mesh and my username. I've posted it dozens of times and included the source, part number, and even the cutout sizes for the RS4 modded bumper.

It took you more time to write that out than to just post the link it self, even if you did post this info over a dozen times...[rolleyes]

Off topic a bit, but Onemoremile, what fog's do you have? I lost my fog lights when I got projectors, and im looking for a new set. Yours look clean.

Hella FF75. Mine are the driving lights but they are also available in a fog pattern. They rock.

These FF75 driving pattern will be moved over to my wife's OutBack which already has Hella 500 fogs with hot bulbs. Then I'll put the FF75 with the fog pattern in my Avant. I just have to finish up the headlight install with the manual range control first. The driving lights were necessary since the blacked out lights have completely useless high beams. Turns out that reflectors are pretty important after all.

Thanks for the light recommendation. Will they fit behind the A4 bumper? Also, which would you recommend? The Fogs or driving lights? Whats the main difference?

Has anyone used Mesh with their stock A4 bumper? I sort of wonder how ti looks, but I haven't seen it. I think it would look nicer with the fogs, than the stock "fins", but I'm unsure.

FF75 Fog pattern versus Driving pattern:

These charts shows how various high end models produce light. Mine put out enough light to read a newspaper at 250 meters. That isn't alot compared to some of the others but it is more than enough to completely wash out my 4300k HID low beams.

on the blue car, it looks like theyused something to border a cutout for the fog light. That looks much better than the fogs sitting behind the mesh.

I did the same thing, just cut the square out of my mesh
