I maxed out my stock fuel pump when I was tuning last night so need to upgrade.

Seems like most people use the 340, but looking at pictures it seems the 341 or 342 would be a better choice since they have the offset inlet which more closely resembles stock pump?

Any ideas? And no, I'm not getting the Bosch 044 pump from 034 since I can't justify more than 4x the cost since I know several people making in excess of 800 crank hp with a single walbro & voltage booster when I'm not even looking for half of that power.

Was the install ok, did you have to hack up the basket like when you use a gss340? Did you get the foam spacer for it..? What sock did ya use for it?

i bought an install kit with the small rectangular squre sock. I also used the supplied foam spacer. Install was cake after i figured out how to make the tool to twist the basket out. The install kit was $15.

navigate to the install parts and look at the kits. I used kit 4. I would go with a smaller sock though.

I got this thing installed a little over a month ago (GSS342). It fit OK, but if I were to do it again I would have used the GSS340, or even better...this method:

You might not be able to get those parts anymore...a friend of mine just bought the last of them and cleaned out the US parts depots.
