Thinking about Dallas

Hey guys, Im thinking about making the move to the Dallas Area. Dallas PD is hiring like mad and I want to move somewhere warm. I currently live in RI and its cold as hell. How is the scene down there?

i am fairly new to the audi world, but i am in to the vw scene and its pretty good, check out vdubaddiction.com thats the local vw board. Good look with the Dallas pd, they have some issues lol..

Dallas PD has several problems though man. I would try and stick with another agency in the metroplex, (ie. Garland, Plano, Mesquite, Irving), to name a few. Or also try Frisco which is a little farther north. I think everyone around the area is hiring right now.

dallas is great. but a little bit north like plano, allen is probably a nicer place to live as well.
I hate allen cops though.

The Audi scene in Dallas is hit and miss. NTAG or North Texas Audi Group is a great forum with alot of great members. All are willing to help and go out of the way to help. We have a few meets every week and we do some track events out at MSP or Motor Sport Ranch. All in all a solid community but sometime people commit and never show.
