Im 10min away from the Malibu fire and 15min away from the Chatsworth fire, so im getting hit pretty good.

Back in 2003 when the Grand Prix Fire was going on in San Bernardino, I had to evacute my house as my place was right in that area.. winds kicked the fire up to a point where it was about 30 ft from my house along side the mountain. I stayed the night at my office which was about 5 miles away from my house, and there was a shitload of ash at my office, went back to my house after the fires left and my house was covered in ash, my pool took weeks to clean.

Two years ago, with the fires in the SFV, I had fires at the top of my culdesac. say a prayer for all the people near them - not a good feeling at all.

definitely say a prayer for those who are going through it. we are blessed for the simple fact that all we have to complain about is the smell and ash.

The malibu fire burned a house 2 doors down from my old beach house.

we are currently on voluntary evac. The fire is just up the street and the the tract of houses 3 blocks up was evac'd about 45 minutes ago. I am up in stevenson ranch.

man i hope they catch the idiot who did it because i hope all the fire fighters out there are doin alright.. i my self is a Soon to be EMT, planing on being a paramedic. / firefighter... dont want to see a whole engine crew lose their lives because of an arrsnist..... and i pray for those who's homes are or may be destroyed my sisters boyfriends moms house will probably burn down.. in sandiego. because the fires are so close.. i hope not......
