So I finally found my next set of wheels. It will be a secret untill I actually get them. The front will be 18x8.5 et 35 and the rears 18x10 et35 with a huge 2 step lip (hint hint). The fronts will be no problem to fit, and I will actually get either 10 or 15 mm spacers to fill the pulled fenders. In the rear the fenders will also get pulled, and still have a little stretch and poke going on.

For all people running 9.5 rears on here, what offset are you using?

From what I've read they are using between 25-35. I've seen most at 32 though. I've been trying to figure that out as well. My new wheels are 9.5 in the rear.....although they haven't shown up yet so I can't tell you how well they are going to fit hehehe
His are 18x9.5 rear with an et of 32.

the ones I'm getting are 35 so it shouldn't be a problem. as far as the tire goes I'm thinking either 255/40/18 or 265/35/18, but it also depends on the tire brand.

The OZ SLs don't cut it anymore with the OEM RS4 and pulled fenders...

Im runngin 9.5x18 et 35 rears with a 225 40 tyre, i dont see how you are gonna get 10s on with a 255 without catching the standard wheelarch, unless your car isnt very low

this is what strech allows and still no rubbing. You see the poke but it articulates in

well, my fenders are getting pulled so it won't be as much of an issue. I might have gone overboard with the 255 tire. I'd like to see some more pics with different tire sizes if possible.

I'm running 225's on my 9's and I love it (not quite enough stretch though), I think 225's on a 9.5 would look awesome. For your 18's I would probably run like a 235 or so.

did some research and decided I will probably go with 235/40/18 or 245/35/18
here are some pics of various size tires on a 10" wide wheel.

meh.. not for quattro

you do understand that tire width has nothing to do with damaging your quattro system right?

it's the rolling diameter of the tire that you have to keep the same..

it's hard to calculate it out with stretched tires. but since tuner isn't quattro, he doesn't have to worry

You tend to find that tyre make often effects the extent and look of stretch, these are Kumho Ecstas and dont look as stretched as my old falkens, it tends to be tyres with rim protection that look the most stretched

Im running 8.5x18 fronts with the same size tyre, will be changed to 215 35 18 after the summer so , i have a bit more clearance to go lower up front
