Okay okay, first off, I've been in love with the S5 since I saw some of its first pictures. It will very likely be my next car but I feel Audi dropped the ball on a few minor details. First time I saw it in person I was excited about the huge, panoramic sunroof, but where does it go? Oh yeh, it only vents up. Great for a mean sporty look but who doesn't want a sunroof?
The interior is great, I love how everything is angled toward the driver, its a great little cockpit but there isn't enough wood, or if you prefer aluminum or carbon fiber trim. There is no trim at all in front of the passenger, and very little around the dash and shifter.
Audi did such a great job with the car but skimped on some details. Namely, I'm upset about the sunroof.
What does everyone else think?

I disagree about the trim, the BMW 6 series does pretty much the same thing and it isnt so much of a bother. Personally I think the sparsity of contrasting trim is nice...

Interior looks good (until now every single magazine/review said that) but each is entitled to his/her own opinion.
Sunroof sucks indeed.

BMW 6 series, BMW interior is just bad all around. I'd take an A3 interior over a 6 series.
What was Audi thinking when they did the sunroof though?
