V1 help please

Im new to this forum and new to Audi's so please correct me if i break a rule. i followed KarlMarx's V1 DIY but im must be doing something wrong or A4 and A6(C6)'s are different. I really like the way he use the sunroof method but i cant get it to power up, my + wire is identical to his and i tried to touch the - wire to my bolts but it didnt power up, i didnt try to unscrew a bolt and touch it (like he said) but instead i just touch the screw. that part of his car is very similar to mine but not identical. i tried using a DMM but im an embarrassingly newbie to all this electrical stuff. i tested all over to get a 12v signal but i couldnt find it. can someone please help me locate the 12v wire and the negative ground wire where the sunroof panel is to power up my valentine1. Thank you so much in advance!

use a test light.
red wire that shown on the pic that should have 12V so put the key in ignition and see if test light show juice on there.
otherwise start checking which wire got 12v with ignition on.

i appreciated your help, i havnt had time to check. but does the engine gotta run? or just key in ignition? im gonna try this again right now. ill keep u guys updated

EDIT:I tried everywhere using a DMM but dont get much juice. on my way to try again brb

ok guys, im sorry but i gave up. im very dumb at electronics and all related things but i cant get it to work, cant find any juice. i touch the 2 only bolts under there and it didnt have juice and i dont know where else would the neg ground is so i'll wait for someone to do it and share the info with me. good luck euroaddict. let me know how it goes.
