Does anyone know if there is any film comparable to the light blue tint they put on the C-Class (and I am sure others). I have seen this on alot of black benzs and it is just blue enough to barely notice and looks sick. People have mentioned it on vwvortex and fourtitude but it seems no one was successful in finding an exact match IIRC.

...oh yeah, APR93 went in Monday and my RS4 reps are arriving after 5 months this week, score!

I have also been looking for this every since the c-class came out. It is not tint on the c-class but built into the glass. I have not been able to find anything comparable.

Yeah its special glass on any mercedes with the sport package or amg package. Regular cars get the green glass. It looks great on black, red, and silver but I saw a blue ML the other day (only front windows are tinted blue on that model) and it looked a bit over kill with blue on blue.

I love the way everyone flames people considering the angel eye mod but a Benz tint is A-Ok. [;)]

Anyway I'd really like to see pics of this if it is possible to do, I really can't see an Audi rockin blue tints...

Yes this tint is available. I REALLY like it and wish I would have gone with it in the first place.

Here are 2 pics of my friends Jetta: Suntec HP-50% MB tint.

Pics really don't do justice... the tint looks GREAT in real life and very sharp. You can definitely tell that it is aftermarket tint but it is subtle and very clean.

How close is that Suntec Hp-50% MB tint to the actual MB Glass? Can you comment? From the pics it looks to dark. If I could find an exact match I would jump on it.

Not really sure. It's definitely darker than most MB tints. I'm sure the MB glass comes with around 70-80% tint stock. Barely noticeable.

If you want blue tint that looks really good - there ya go.

Heres a car with that Suntec 50%. Some people say it's exact others say it too dark...

The MB tint is definitely more subtle than the Suntec 50%. For sure.

yea, I agree. We need around a 70%-80% to be right on. No way I'm putting that 50% on, it looks to ethnic.

Guys, There is no way we could ever make our OE green tint glass appear like the new MB blue tint glass, simply because of the green tinted glass VAG uses at the factory. No matter what percent of light filtering you select you're still going to be laying blue tinted film over green tinted glass. If you want blue windows, buy a Benz.

Thanks for the heads up guys, I knew it was in the glass as I had called around, just didn't mention it before. That Suntec looks good on the Jetta and like shit on the Altima IMO. Oh well, it was worth a shot, i'll just stick with no tint then. And in response to Pedros comment: no Benz for me, I like to row my own gears.

Mine came with the bluish glass, but I put 3M tint over it.
