quattro <- only if they will do all lower case

LIL TRRRBO <-still my fave but only if you've got a big ass turbo hidden in there

Just so you know, you can get custom colors and everything for about 50 shipped.

how do these mount up to the stock a4 bumper? When buying the plate, do you have to buy all the mounting hardware?

I was wondering the same thing. My Rieger front end obviously has a sport for a Euro plate, but I'm not about to go drilling holes in it.

It'll probably sit in my front windshield until I can find an S4 front bumper and etc. Although, the bumper I have now is pretty much trashed, so I may as well try it. It comes with a frame and mounting hardware. I wish Audi would make a predesignated spot for them, like BMW did on the E36 M3.

What about

if you are going to do it get a standard looking one that looks like it could be real, vanity europlates get a [down].

mines held by some heavy duty 3M double sided tape. i didnt want to spend the extra on a frame and i think it looks alright without one.

Go for the fifth one

does anyone know what the letters with the dash and the three numbers mean on German plates? Area codes?

10-03-2007, 03:15 PM
Sort of, they are like county regions....like I'm from Vanderburgh county. It also tells the state area....sort of...WOB is bavaria area...like Wurzburg and shit....It's all just to identify what region from Germany the car is from....kind of like ours here.

I thought it was Deutsch Touring Masters ?
I dunno, it might be. All my friends and I always refer to it as such though. We have been since god......1996 or 97 when we first starting messing with Euros...

For the OP what about this plate [:D]

On a real note though. Mine sits in my back window....although it was in the front for this picture....it was the day I got the plate.....I was trying out spots and didn't like it there...
