It's a type of flux capacitor.

Pioneer AVIC D3 is the ULTIMATE entertainment/navigation system that fits into our B7s and looks stock too!! You can add bluetooth module, backup camera, XM/Sirius, iPod adapters to it. It is by far the sickest aftermarket CD player for our cars.

If someone can help me provide the wiring diagrams for our steering wheels + pinout configurations I would be able to help answer if it is possible by comparing that to the Pioneer manual.

I dunno if the face has changed from the late A4 B7. I read a write up about the
D3, the author bought the face from crutchfield, and made it work. I have a Kenwood DNX7100, I bought a 2002, A4 double din, shaved it a little, but it's not exactly what I want, the shape was a little off in the sides, but the front that it inserts to the HU fits like a charm.

So I am getting mine custom made, but it cost $900.00, I will temp to do it myself, it is not rocket science, so I will have to custom make my own HU face.

HID,

I don't know the name of the wires that syncs to the HU and steering wheel, but I got a quotation of $200 just for the module that connects to the radio and to the steering controls.

Im going to make a post on the Avic411 forum to see what comes up. I already posted in Telematic's forum but nothing.

I will look for the agravic 2.0 face plate to.

As for the flux capacitor I found out is not compatible with FSI ( Dam you Audi )
