Just put in a new Milltek today, sounds awesome, wondering how i should check for any leaks in the system. would i be able to hear it outside while the engine is idle? or do i need to crawl back under and check all the joints individually? thanks in advance!

I know usually you can hear a leak. It kinda sounds like the usual exhaust sound plus a little hiss at idle, under exceleration is deffinately more noticable, it has a louder sound then normal.

If you had the exhaust installed somewhere, have them check it... they should do it fo free.

Weld that thing, that is the only way I got rid of my leak. Otherwise you fix one and another one appears.

Thats true. I have an apr exhaust and it leaks like crazy. From the mid pipe all the way to the end pipe before the catback connects. I fixed both of those then BOTH of my catback connectors were leaking and i'm like WTF.
Codes:
P0455 = Large Evap Leak.
P0420 = 0/2 Sensor bull crap, from my apr software/vmr test pipe
for such a small leak, it didn't slow down my driving but the boost was horrible, as I would step in to 3rd gear and punch it. You would feel a jerk. At last I think I'm going to weld it because I've tried those Kragen exhaust fiberglass wraps, and those barely work. Don't want to try cutting a soda can and wrap it.

Was this bump to celebrate the thread's two year anniversary?? You were a little early and I have no clue what you were trying to accomplish with your post... Soda can?!?!
