Dealer Reflash ?

Just had the dealer flash my car 2 weeks ago with the update and it seems to stumble when i start it. Never had starting problems before, but now it seems as if the car is struggling to start. Anyone else with the dealer update notice any trouble with starting your car? Thanks

the flash was a recall the dealer said needed to be done.

It was probably the I3 recall from awhile back.

I have the same problem. It's as if the car isn't gunna start, it just stutters for a couple seconds before it starts but then everything is fine.

I've started a thread about this before (http://audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=153319) and asked if others were experiencing this problem. Only a few replies but all were that they had this same issue and there was nothing that could be done.

It's not as bad as it sounds, it just stutters 2 or 3 times before starting right up.

welcome to the mysterious cold start problems...

my 07 GTI was bought back because the 2.0T didn't want to start up if the car sat overnight or for a few hours. there was some sort of fueling issue that could never be fixed another VW/Audi quirk.

But it's not that cold to have the starting problem.
