Hey guys, I have a 2007 a4 2.0T quattro tiptronic. My mods are Forge blow off valve spacer and APR 91 chip. The next mod i am planning on is the Carbonio cold air intake. Is there any other cold air intake thats better than the carbonio because i cant find any other intake and i hear mixed reviews about the carbonio.

Keep your stock intake and your 350 bucks. The stock box is fine.

I think the first response by A4DIT covered it. There isn't a reason to get an intake unless you're going for sound. I believe HP figures are the same with an intake as they are with the stock configuration.

you need to learn how to search... the answers are all there... don't waste your time with the Carbonio unless you want to look cool by making your turbo sound louder(since you bought the BOV spacer anyways)

Carbonio's apparently make a cool sound, I don't know if this is true or not. I don't see how it would and if it did how you would even here it inside the cabin. So if you want to spend 350 for a possible audible sound I recommend putting it toward an exhaust which will sound good and give you gains. You could always do a KN drop in fliter for 40 or so bucks. In all honesty though the factory A4 intake is a genius design, it works well.

As far as aftermarket CAI carbonio is the best........it's pricey but good.

I think it's interesting that you'd spend the money on the Forge Blow Off valve but are questioning if the Carbonio is worth the money...
The Carbonio actually flows more air than the stock airbox. The test is here - http://www.mjbmotorsport.com/id82.html

a lot of intake threads in the b7 forum now-a-days..just look around and you'll find like 2 or three other threads regarding the carbonio.
