After a year of my GF yelling at my to slow down I have no airbag. I finally got around to taking apart my stock pass seat. I removed the seat cover and untaped all wiring and removed the Occupancy sensor and all the wiring needed. then I installed everything in my recaro sports and it works!!!!!!-

cool. I thought about going that route. I believe if you were to just buy the internals its about 650dollars. Hopefully nothing is broken if you have to transfer it back.

So that's the occupancy sensor- what about the airbag wires for the bags in the seats?

ahhh cool...Thanks for sharing the info, my tech friends at the dealer want to try to ninja that warning off through their version of vag com...
how long did this take you? I just want a way to have the pass airbag on all the time since I don't have any babies yet.

the ecu does not accept the coding. our vag-com lets you change the long coding.

PLEASE TELL ME THAT'S POSSIBLE!!! I can't stand that fucking light in contrast to the otherwise perfect red Audi interior. At least when someone else is in the car it goes away.

it did not take me a few hours of pulling apart the stock seat and a few more installing into the recaro.

all you have to do is pop off the switch cover and put some black tape back there and you will never see that light again...
