Hi all, after a long 2 month wait, my S-Line has arrived. Just a few questions hoping you guys can help me out.

The first thing I'm going to do is debadge it the rear. I was also thinking of debadging the rings as well. Is there any holes behind the ring badges or is it simply just stuck on with double sided tape?

I want to fit aftermarket HID's and I read somewhere that by doing so, the ECU doesn't quite recongnise the bulb and will think that it's blown or something along the lines of that. What are my options? (I tried searching, but couldn't quite find the answer). I don't intend on spending a few grand on factory zenons.

I used to own a Nissan Silvia S15 which made 200rwkw from just simple bolt on modifications (full exhaust 3inch & 4inch piping, pod filter, fuel pump, boost controller, front mount intercooler & aftermarket ECU). All this was with the standard turbo, internals and driveline. It drove like a dream without any dramas.
My question here is whether the A4 standard internals, driveline and turbo can handle such a huge power increase? I'm not expecting it to make 200kw at all wheels, but somewhere around 150kw atw would be nice. Is it possible to make that amount of power with the same / similar mods I had on the Silvia?

Any input would be kindly appreciated! Thanks [:)]

It is stuck on with some sort of adheasive, deffinately no holes though. A little heat, fishing line, polish and some elbow grease and you're good to go.

I am not 100% sure how much 200wkw is, but with a few mods such as: chip, intake, test pipe, cat-back, front mount, fuel pump you can easily make 210-240 or possibly higher (wheel HP) depending on the combo of mods you choose.

a chip alone can get you ~250 hp 290 tq at the crank. As Im sure you'll find as you search around here, intake and cat back produce debateable (read NO) gains if you're chipped. ( Ive never understood that myself, but thats what the numbers seem to say.) TP, FMIC, fuel pump will all help, make sure the company you choose for your chip has programming to support an upgraded fuel pump.

Thanks for the reply guys. Much appreciated.
Got to start saving up for future mods!

200wkw would equate to approx. 270hp at wheels. But i'm not after that much as i'm sure it'll cost a hell of a lot to make that amount of power. I'd be happy with approx 150wkw (200hp at wheels).

270hp @ wheels is like more than ko4 iirc

They didn't have one in Australia with the specs i wanted. They were all auto as i wanted a manual. So had to be shipped from Germany. Yes it has a been a loooong hard time waiting....

Sorry, I dont' quite understand what you mean. Do you mean it has to be an upgrade to K04 or something larger than K04?

Thanks.
