Mufflers?

Is there a way to simply change out the mufflers on our cars but leave the remainder of the exhaust system alone? If so can it be done bolt on instead of cutting and welding?

Our exhaust is one solid piece from the downpipe back. So no, definitely not without cutting and welding.

what size piping is the stock exhaust?

The downpipe is 2.125", the midpipe 2.25" and the rear section tubing is 1.75"

Well, if you just grab 2 mufflers and weld them on, the piping size wouldn't matter. The muffler shop can just get a piece of pipe and expand it to the size they need to weld it on.

Yeah i know but i dont want to weld... i will probably just buy an exhaust
