Fellas I was thinking about getting lamin-x for the headlights.. possibly going with gun smoke , tint , or optic blue. Do any of you guys have this on their car. I dont have projectors at the moment so i dont know if the gunsmoke would be too dark on halogens and then be F'd at night... let me know post some pics if you guys have any.

I had gunsmoke on my projectors and still had to remove them because I lost too much light, partly because the roads stay pretty wet year round here though.

How easy/difficult is it to remove the Lamin-x again? I'm considering it, but like to able to remove it again w/o damaging the headlight...
Thanks...

I have the smoked and they do take away some candle power/light transmittancy, but it's not that noticeable unless your somewhere where theres no street lights, in which case I run the fogs and or the high beams. Sorry no pics right now. To take them off just use a razor blade and peel. Then maybe remove any left over adhesive with some mineral spirits/paint thinner.

Its easy to peel them off with a hair drier or heat gun.
That way you don't get residual glue.

bluebatmobile.net He sells them for cheaper. =) And if you mess up, he'll send you another set for cheaper. You have to reach him through email, it's on the site though.

I used a blow dryer to remove mine as well. Super easy and no adhesive left over.

What did you get for the completely black heads and tails? I'm about to order but can't figure out which I need. Thanks!

I never had black heads, the car on the left is a friends A4, but for the tails I used to have Lamin-x charcoal

Was the Optic Blue very blue at night, or was it just a hint of blue on the road ? I def like the idea of Yellow fogs though... trying to decide on the charcoal or the Optic Blue.. let me know ur thoughts.
