So i am at a red light, when this Integra, like 93 pulls up, i am chilling listening to my music and he starts reving his engine very loud with his fart can. Light turns green and he takes off, me i just take my time to get to the other light without paying attention to him, he points at me to lower my window, and with a mad face, ask me if i think i am better than him, cause i didn't want to race him, i just told him, gas is too expense these days to waste it on your fart can, he got mad and took off almost hitting another car. Whats wrong with these kids now a days.

Cut him some slack man, he lives his life A QUARTER MILE AT A TIME. [:p]

Really though, its so sad that people actually expect to race. I'm not racing anybody who's going to act mad like that. It just turns out bad.

I definitely give you props for showing restraint and class.

Good call not racing man. Let him get the ticket.

Speaking of douches, I went to the store last night to get some things and on my way through the doors this tall younger guy stares at me like he wants to fight. He was obviously drunk so I just told him to **** off. He started to to come at me, but his friend just told him to knock it off and come along. Then, his other drunk friend that was buying beer infront of me in the line, started giving me shit about my faux hawk. It's not even big. Anyways, he forgot his drivers license and I noticed it on the counter. I picked it up, and took the good liberty of throwing it away.

DAMNIT! That is ****ing bad ass. I should have done that. Then again....it could then have been traced back to me. And that would be illegal. ;-)

Wow, that's pretty pathetic that he gets mad. Poor little kid trying to make himself feel good. You know he went back and told his buddies he trounced an A4, what a loser.

let's try not to generalize too much about the youth nowadays here guys and gal

Well, I guess I'm a bit of a target here, being the youthful age of 15. Everyone likes to race. I was driving, with AN INSTRUCTOR. It said "Driver in Training" on the side of the car. Guy pulls up in his Civic, and asks if I want to race. You've got to be kidding me. Power windows are handy. Idiot.

Here's the deal with me and racing. Sure, I guess it's fun every once and a while with a buddy. My buddy wants to race me sometime in his 3000GT, but racing will never compare to a long drive in the country, pushing it around corners. Kids nowadays are shallow, and misled by idiot movies like the "Fast and the Furious". Keep in mind, I'm 15, and making these comments.

Maybe I was the only one who caught this, but by street racing you get the joy of A) Being chased by police B) Having you and your car shot at by a bunch of dudes on crotch-rockets C) Your car blown up, NOS was a genious idea, huh? D) There's what, like 10 main guys, and 1 girl. Way to get girls...I can pick up so many more by my high school on a bike...As in bicycle E) Because you, and your arrogent mouth enjoy to hear yourself talk, you ultimately lose your car F) Your best friend almost gets killed, as his vintage Stang gets destroyed. G) Your best friend is now on the run, because he had to do illegal things to maintain his ricer.

I guess I'll end this with a "Nice fart-can d00d!"

Idiots...

Since I'm not 16 anymore, what is the point in racing? Especially on open streets.

Oh yeah...there is none.

As a member of said group I give you all rights to generalize all you want. Most youth absolutely suck driving stupid riced out crap with their only goal being to beat some slightly decent car.
I'm not talking about the thread starter, Audi's are way more than slightly decent, merely in general.
I hate my generation.

HAHA...I'm the same way. The hell with wasting my guess on these punk ass little kids. I have nothing to prove to them. I find it more enjoyable seeing them get pissed off when they try to instigate me. Gives me more satisfaction than actually smokin their POS cars. [:p]

Ugh, I also hate my generation. But I also try to be a responsible driver...I don't speed with other people in the car ^^;. I'm almost ashamed of myself when I get to school (public high school)...there's been 4 deaths, murders of parents, and a school shooting...all in the same academic year. There's also a "Honda Skyline" and a "Deuce Deuce Racing" Camry in the school parking lot.

Although it sometimes makes me feel better about myself, I usually think about the phrase "Natural Selection" and go on my merry way.......or listen to my turbo whine whichever comes first[:p]

"whether you win by an inch, or a mile... winning is winning"

i bet ricers carry their special edition fast and the furious racing bible with them at all times... so they can be prepared for racewars when and if it should come up.

DRA4, I bet it wasnt the first time and I bet its not gonna be the last. On a serious note though, that whole entire scenery around NY has pretty much died. Its pretty much left over to those who couldn't do it in its prime time and are trying to catch up with the trend.

You made a good call.
