Got some pokeage....and yeah i rub...i don't care...yeah i have quattro....and no it doesn't handle great....i don't care if it hurts the drivetrain....thast the next owners problem.....
These were capt. obvious's....i'm getting refinished for next season...for now they are just fine...also making some spikes for them....really sharp ones too...

You can easily fix the rubbing issue with a simple corner balance and aggressive street alignment. The car will handle 10x better - a little negative camber goes a long way!

Those wheels look dope but very small for some reason. What size are they?

that looks great on your car.

The combo of wheels/matte door flares looks really hot. S-Line front would finish the car nicely.

deep dish rims always make the rim look atleast an inch smaller than the size
looks good [up]

Lovin' that euro look. If you're happy and can come to grips with the drawbacks of sporting that look, more power to you. [up]

they are 18's....8,5 up front 10 in rear....offsets...you'll have to search for capt obvious's thread about these...i believe 35 up front and 40 in the rear...the rears shaved down from 38....i could be mistaken...
me and my friend were driving last night, and i swear it has selective rubbing....lol...the fronts do not rub, and rears rub but...i can't figure out what style road imperfection causes the rubbing...cause a dip that looks bad...does nothing, and then another that is shallow, it rubs....oh well
the camber in the rear can be tweaked, but i'll wait till next year after winter, and i get these refinished to really dial in the suspension....
thanks for the positive comments guys.....
no negative ones!??!?! i'm shocked lol

I absolutely LOVE deep dish 18's with FAT rubber wrapped around. I think your car looks great but I would be EXTREMELY annoyed with the handling issues you speak of.
If I were Capt. Obvious, I would have easily done the 8.5width in the rear as well.
The lip size between front and back doesn't seem like a tremendous difference.
I LOVE the look!

the handling issues i'll square away next year...and as far as the size goes...the wheels are uber rare hre 526's , i believe the only ones left in this bolt pattern and model...from what i remember....don't quote me....so i don't think capt...ordered them like this, i think he just came across some sweet wheels...
tires are 225/40 up front and 255/35 rear......
the pictures don't really do the lips justice...in person the fronts are 2 inch...and i think the rears are about 4....i'll measure later...

If you decide to change the tires, try using the same size all around. I had 235/35/19 all around on my 19x8.5f and 19x9.5 rear. It might help the quattro drivetrain as well as your handling while still keeping the look.

the thing is with this tire combo and the stretch that happens on these wheels....the overall diameters are pretty close to one another...i just had the fronts replaced...they were pretty bad....the rears have some life to them...

Car looks great, diggin the poke! [up]
Must be HRE cause I'm running 9.5" et32 LM's (rear) w/an 8mm spacer for pokeage and I don't think I have as much as you. May step it up to a 10, since I'm gonna dial in some neg. camber.

yeah man step it up to 10"....i've always wanted a staggered setup....and never thought i'd end up with these wheels.....i know when these are retired (never selling, im going to keep them)....im getting a step lipped wheel. they just look sooo much better then flat/reversed lips.

Lookin good man! [up] Personally, I'd lower the front just a hair. The wheels look great and I'm glad you appreciate the rareness of those wheels. According to HRE, those are most likely the only intact set of those left in those sizes.
A lot of people worry about staggered wheels on Quattro, but it's not bad if you do it correctly. Click on the link in my sig to learn more about it and how to do it right. [wrench]
The offset on the wheels is supposedly 35 in the front and 40 in the rear (shaved down from 35mm), but after mounting my new wheels, I think they may actually be 30mm front and 35 rear. You might want to measure them next time you have the wheels off the car just to be sure.
