Mine is really sloppy, I can fit my fingers between the rubber and the metal. I found one at Purems but it's $220. Is there just a rubber bushing to install or is it the whole assembly?

That mount unfortunately is only available as a complete assembly. The rubber portion does not separate or come available separate.

Consider our two Stern upgraded diff mount products as well, one for the forward mount, and one for the rear one.

What you have pictured is the OEM replacement part. It will most likely still be the same as what your getting on your car now since it is a normal issue with the rear diff hitting the frame of the car during hard shifting. This is the product you should try which is one of the parts Mike talks about up above.

It lists for $52.95 and you install it right onto the stock rear diff that is already on your car. I have this on my car and it made the rear diff mount much stiffer which then removed the "clunk" that I always got during racing. Purems also has a upgrade for the rear diff bushings.

both are listed at the very bottom of the page (http://www.purems.com/products/products.php/CA=1484)

I saw those and will buy them but this mount is pretty worn, I'm guessing, might supposed to be like that. I can slide my fingers in on top of the rubber portion of it. I don't know how much romm is supposed to be there but I think that's accessive. Would the plates help it for now?

That is normal since there really isn't anything between the rubber lip near the metal and the upper part of the mount. This is why the stern product goes between the 2 to stiffen it up.
