Well after being chipped and had the KO4 put in I was having issues with the tranny but found out the sollution for that! Thanks everyone who helped with that!

Before the car was chipped and the KO4 was installed I tried the non fouler mod didnt work but the car ran fine. So today I decided to take em out and hope that it would help the car out but it didnt. [:(]

But at around 4000-4500 RPM and up the car sputters and shits on me!

So anyone have any ideas Im running the Forge 004 BOV maybe that has something to do with it? I would just like to hear different opinions!

Thanks in advance!

Tyler

.32

tighten that down to .028 and give that a try......

I'm sure you mean .032 cause you must have an awesome ignition system if you are sparking across a 1/3 of an inch =P

anyways.....start over from the beginning...when did the stuttering begin?

bad O2's? Im just trying to think of what could make the car sputter, I know my friend had a similiar problem on his 2000 Camaro SS.

Hopefully thats not the case hope its a quick inexpensive fix

Prob goin to pick up a 007 tom to see if that helps

Gap to .28 if that doesn't help then get rid of Bov.

When you get into boost, the spark cannot jump the large gap and causes a misfire.

2001? What revision of coilpacks are you running? One or more is probably toast. I've gone through six in the last two years. Latest R revisions seem to be solid though.

yeah tyler definatly test the coil packs. i just replaced all four of mine because my car was stuttering so badly. and check the coil boots too (rubber connectors running from the coil pack to the top of the plug), those tend to wear after a while and the rubber will start cracking.

Run the bosch platin's F5DP0R

Sounds like a plug issue.

Run a vag. It will tell you what is wrong with your car. Misfires on which cylinders has misfires.

Had the car Vagged today thanks Young! said misfire cyl 1 and 2 and everything else is ok! But the car has been running really strong lately no sputtering nothin (knock on wood!)

So we cleared everything no CEL!

Really wierd!

Did you re-gap your plugs? You'll keep getting random misfires under boost.

A cold spark plug at a .032" gap is not good...
