I really need to upgrade my headlights. Not looking for HID right now but i need something other than the green pea colored ones i have right now. The ones i'm looking at are here :http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/96-97-98-99-01-AUDI-A4-TWIN-HALO-PROJECTOR-HEADLIGHTS_W0QQitemZ130148492898QQihZ003QQcategory Z33710QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

anyone else buy them from this seller before?

I swear to god if I see one more eBay headlight thread, I'm gonna shit myself [:D]

The headlights themselves aren't what makes it HID, it's the bulbs (and ballasts). Just in case you're confused? What are you talking about green pea colored? That's what color your headlights are? As a rule, I've always stayed away from eBay generic headlights, they tend to be cheap, they crack, they leak, they fog up, there's even cases of them melting due to the heat of stock halogen bulbs. Plus, more often than less, they just look tacky. Why not get a set of OEM 1 pieces from a junkyard or something?

he wants to upgrade...honestly that wouldn't be an upgrade.

save your money and buy a set of used e-codes. or if you dont have projector housings, just buy a set of used s4 lights.

green pea color is the headlight lens. its like a really dirty look. looks like someone pulled them out of a swap, thats best i can describe. there isn't a audi junk yard around me.

When you search for headlights on ebay always put a "-halo" after it

buy these - they end in four hours

Yep, go with those. I've heard decent things about the Depo ecode replicas, but if you have the choice, always go with OEM Valeo.

It sounds like you don't even need new headlights at all. Just work yours with some rubbing compound and some elbow grease. Follow it up with some plastic polish and you should be fine. If that doesn't help, try a little bit of wetsanding with 2000 grit, you probably just have a bunch of gunk piled up on the surface over the years.

for some reason my internet is being gay and not letting my open up any of the links. but if your so concerned about cheap lights, go for the DEPO ecodes from the seller eurolights4less on ebay. can beat $250 shipped. i have them and love them - but of course i put HID's in mine

I actually just posted a thread where I referenced a post by audisnapr that said he was satisfied with the quality of his blacked out angel eye ebay ecodes. Turns out the seller in the link provided by the OP sells the same type that audisnapr bought back in 2005.

audisnapr's thread: http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=51300
the headlights he has (i believe): http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/96-97-98-01-AUDI-A4-TWIN-HALO-PROJECTOR-HEADLIGHTS-BLK_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33710QQihZ003QQitem Z130146580089

they don't look too bad for $180

I have a set of s4 lights that are clear corners, the backs of them were drilled to wire my aftermarket HID's but were sealed with silicone, and one of the tabs is broken. I may sell them to a local guy on AZ but he isn't sure yet. Let me know if you are interested.

How the quality on those, victor? Im really tempted to pull the trigger and get those but i keep hearing those knockoffs fog up/leak/whatever. Do you see them doing any of that in the future or are they built well with good parts? Would it be necessary to silicone the seam? how long have those exact ones been available, are they a new product? Thanks
