I installed the FMIC a few weeks ago. So far the gains have been great in the California heat. I had a problem of blowing off hoses at 15psi, but after a good crank on the clamps, never happened again. I had to cut quite a big chunk of bumper rebar to make it fit right though.

The pipes stick out a little too much for taste with the stock bumper. I need to shorten them up, maybe it'll fix it. I also think i'm going to paint the pipes flat black to blend in a bit. Ill prob order some aluminum mesh to match the rs4 grille too.

Took me about 5 hours (with breaks) because I fitted everything only to find it was about 4 inches too low. Then i had to recut some pipes, more rebar and fix the mount . Stupid mistake, but it turned okay in the end.

very nice... i just did mine last friday and it took me a while also...

I also mounted it too low and had to re-adjust it when the bumper went on..

So worth it tho... and u cant beat the price [up]

Looks good. I can't run any of the lower grill, ect. FMIC sticks out too much, but overall it's a cool design. I'll get more pics of mine up in light.

Which core did you get and from which eBay seller? link?

What dimension is the core with endtanks?

deff looks nice, and go with the black pipes for sure. im thinking of doing an ebay front mount soon. how about the fog lights though, can the pipes be moved around them so i dont have to remove my fogs?

No the fogs will not fit, atleast how it is right now. I'm going to cut down some more piping and ill let you know if it pushed it in more.

Looks great to me, I agree on the black for the elbows for a more subdued look.

How much did you end up spending?

If I have to remove my fogs, do they sell well on here?

what would it need to fit the stock fogs and side grills in ? different bend, or shorter core ?

The kit was $236 shipped, I sent just-intercoolers a message through ebay and asked for the A4 kit. I might make up some brakets to fit fogs in the upper corner, i think that is the only way they will fit.
