where did you get your maf and how does your idle look now?

i got my maf from psipleasure - last time i check he lost his license or something - he probably got it from ebay and sold it to me as new.

I got my new maf from blueovalindustries.com - it was 100 bux. My idle has improved and still waiting for it to be solid

Wow Look at that *BTDC... is that normal? I thought that is too much.... maybe that is what Ctapp can get with his tune

Why does your throttle angle jump all over? Just do a third gear pull 3k to 6.5k

2nd. i hope you don't race your car like that on the street, completely out of its powerband.

yeah timing is quite aggressive. CF is good though, since you're running higher octane and 17psi.

ahah i think throttle angle was jumping all over the place was because - when i was going WOT - there was a slight bend in the road - so i didn't really go WOT

what is the accepted range for BTDC

i know that unitronics is around 12* BTDC at WOT, so is revo on all the BT B6's... but it all depends what octane and what not (different factors). I know that a Ko4 on the same octane will have more then a BT (of what I notice). You are not pulling any timing so it just might be the ctapp tune... He is a genius at tuning engines...

your timing looks good.

yeah the lightning mafs are very sensitive, even more so than ours. it's best not to take chances with used ones (although I did)

the problem with used ones is the Ford guys often have them recalibrated for bigger injectors and such. Sometimes they don't realize it and they just sell a used factory Ford Maf. If the numbers are ground off the sensor housing, there is a high chance that the MAF was recalibrated. Buy new and know what you are getting.

BTDC readings will be high during low boost as it is building and then decrease as the boost gets closer to max, then after boost has hit max or hits peak tq the timing can then again increase. I run about 25 degs of timing on 104 octane while pushing boost at 32psi.

25degs at 6500rpm?

25degs at 6500rpm?

I will have to look at my adv timing maps again, increases till I hit 8500 rpms. IIRC it was 25 degs at peak tq but I will check today.
