its very easy, theres two, one on the front of ur cat and one on the back of it.

The only bitch is trying to wedge your hands in there to get hold of the "back" one.

Once theyre out, just unplug them, plug the other ones in and re apply

FYI, the whole things gets replaced, o2 sensor and all its wiring.

Any tips for what tools to use to get in there?

i used one of those socket wrenches with a quarter of the sidewall missing. That is really the only way to get past those annoying wires...

U could use those angle adjustable hand wrenches i guess also...

Just be careful and let your cat cool off first, or you'll have some fried hands.
