Hey so the timing belt snapped on my car and its not worth rebuilding the head with 220K so... i found a 2002 motor that came out of a running car that was written off from the rear. So is this swap possible? I still want to stay DBW is this as simple as swapping my intake manifold onto the new motor? Please help

Thanks

FYI: 98 is DBC (Drive by Cable)

I don't have any other information for you though, sorry.

It will not be a direct swap since the ports on the 2002 head will be small vs the large ports on the 93 intake manifold. Other issue will be swapping out the VVT in the head with the non VVT cam tensioner out of your AEB head.

Was there damage to your block alone with the head? Because it would be cheaper to just replace all the parts in your AEB head then to buy and swap a motor from the 2002.

no there was no damage done to the block, I found a 99 motor anyways i was just asking to see if the 2002 was worth it or not just cause it has lower km's and is close to me etc...

thanks for the help
