Hey!

Got a few questions for the group:

1. I've got BBS 18"s and I used to run 225 40 18 tires with them. Is there any other tire size I can use that will have a higher sidewall with no rubbing?

2. Are the A4s pre-wired for a CD Changer? If I buy one is it just plug and play

3. Does anyone know of any good LED tails that would fit a B5 and not look cheap?

Thanks

KaM

1. I think there are some guys running 235's with drops. roll your fenders.

2. the cd changer is a 6cd changer with a 13pin that is in the trunk. I've had a BEAR of a time finding an aftermarket one that will be plug and play.

3. sounds like an oxymoron.

pertaining to the wheel question its all come down to offset of the wheel and how wide it, that will determain how wide of a tire you can get with out rubbing if you are low

you cant have a bigger sidewall because it will increase the overall rolling diameter, which means it will mess up your speedometer and stuff. check out this tire size calculator, it will tell you if your choice is greater than a 3% difference(which it shouldnt be)

is the wiring always run, even if the car doesnt have the changer? i dont have a changer, but i was kind of wondering how hard it would be to install it (if the wiring is already there, or what)

it is prewired if you take the left panel off. I will sell you my stock 6disc for 120 shipped

They are 18 x 8.5 and I'm on the stock sport suspension and unrolled fenders
The 1010tire calculator says I can do 235/40

My hesitation is that the 225 40s have too small of a sidewall

Any thoughts on the LED tails?
