Ok here is what puzzles me. You install coilovers and then show me pictures? What about the ride? Isn't that what expensive suspension components are about, ride quality and handling?

well they are H&R coilovers and Im very pleased with the ride from what john at AWE told me i thought the ride would be very stiff and bumby but its not bad at all and the handling is A+ and complements the neuspeed sway bars well

Damn man, your car is super clean. Lovin the plastidip, shoulda used that on mine instead of gloss paint, I think I'll do that to the RS4 grill when I get it. Another yellow foglight guy! Looks good! And can't wait for my S4 bumper [up].

Basically, I'm on your front end's jock [:p]

wer did u get the black plasti-dip?

they sell it at the home-depot. thats were i got it to do mine, atleast. at the store i went to, it wasnt with the spraypaints, so just ask someone in the paint section and they should point you in the right direction.

What exactly is plasti-dip and how is it applied? The reason I am asking is because I painted my RS4 grill with a semi gloss paint and it is now all chipped up and in need of a do-over but I want to make sure that this will not happen again.

Does the plati-dip resist chipping? Good job on the grill and the car looks awesome. Keep up the good work and I'll be going to Home Depot tomorrow to get my plasti-dip ............ [:D]

it is, and i quote the can, "multi-purpose rubber coating"

so it is supposedly more durable because it is a "rubber coating" not just paint. ive had mine done for ~1.5 months and it seems to be holding up great.
some say you can spray it directly onto the grill trim, but i sanded it down, put some krylon fuzion primer(specific for plastics), and then layers of plasti-dip. (btw, it comes in a spray paint can) watch for drips.

Thanks, that helps a lot. I was an Industrial painter for 5 years and have been on every bridge and cable system in the Bay Area ................. of course it's gonna drip [:D] [;)]

exactly what he said its not really a paint but more of a rubber coating that you can use to coat tools etc

im not saying dont put it on too thick(although you shouldnt put it on too thick), im saying that the spray can sometimes shoots out big blobs of paint.

good luck with it, im sure you will do fine with that kind of painting experience.[up]
