Hello, the scat rod you speak of doesn't quite look like that, looks like this one that is listed on our BF site:

But to get to the point, i use both of those brands in my cars, the pauters are perhaps the best rods that money can buy and the scats are very good affordable rods. Needless to say that the scats outsell the pauters by miles.
I've sold scats to people making 500+whp on the constant and use it on my daily driver Audi A4 aka project 20/20.

My "street brawlah" gti is currently using 159mm pauters, needless to say that it doesn't have a problem either. you can see more about the car here:

Hope that helps.

I know most around these parts use Scat. I opted to go with Pauter. I don't think you would go wrong with either and scat is much more affordable. I went with Pauter cause I wanted the best. I know I will be pushing my engine to its limits and the extra piece of mind is nice.

im going for 300ish Awhp daily w/ a 7500rpm rev limiter. all i need now is WMI and some AEB pistons with SCAT rods. i have no doubt at all that those should be able to handle up to 400Awhp reliably if i ever decide to upgrade the turbo again.

there are just too many 1.8t's out there pushing huge power on the SCAT's to justify buying more expensive rods(pauter)

what is the price for both of them ?

i'm thinking of going with GT3076 (with stand alone) daily drive offcourse[rolleyes]

i really dont know what to buy ... [confused]
