Well after my cat broke off last week, I decided to go with a testpipe, After looking around I found one on ebay for like $120 from seller velocity motoring. Didnt know what to expect but when i got it i was pretty impressed with it. Good welds on the inside and looks real nice. Also had "PSI" engraved on it. Well got it installed today and wow, it really makes a difference. Pulls harder than before, also adds a nice tone to my borla system. I really recommend this to anyone, I was really satisified with it and the seller is awesome, he 2 dayed it to me for $10.

PSI Is the name of Jeff Lee's company (Jeff here on AZ)... His test pipes are top notch quality

A est pipe is a test pipe......I've had my e-code for a year and still no CEL. Although Im sure I've lost a few brain cells in the process...

Get some 18mm sparkplug foulers the long ones that can fit your o2 sensor, put one or two on the rear 02 sensor, clear your codes, no more CEL =D.

Sounds like a great buy. What's the pipe made out of (stainless, steel, etc)?

For the CEL problem I would check with Pernin if the make a o2 Simulator for are cars. I bought one for my Evo because I had a CEL/Check Engine Light and installed the o2 Simulator. After that the CEL has not come back and I don't have a stupid light staring at me.

how bad is the smell, I wanted a HFC, but I'm kinda leaning towards performance over anything else, is it that much better than a HFC, cuz if its not a noticable gain i will get a HFC. I am kinda earth friendly, but I also want a faster car

I'm leaning towards a HFC as well. I just want to get my stock cat out along with the lanky downpipe and replace with a HFC and a TT downpipe.

I've got a full Milltek, so the stock cat is bogging the system down something fierce

HFC ftw! I cant stand the smell, well I guess im used to it but my gf and basically everyone else cant stand it...

i love the smell actually. but i also have almost become immune to it so i dont really notice it anymore. whenever my buddies are following me in their cars they always bitch and moan about how bad it smells

ok, HFC it is, I know this has been discusses, but since we're on the topic, which one yields best performance gains?

-Labree & Tantrum are the same company
-Random tech is expensive
-anything else out there?

haha i dont think the smell is worth the slight power gain,(on a k03..) just my opinion though.

like i said you basically get used to it but everyone else bitches, especially your buddies behing you.

I will check GHL...TT is like $300 fuck that.

...wow GHL is a lot looks like LaBree eh?

GHL: $375
LaBree: $270 (7-10 days to make it)
Random Tech: $303 + $15 shipping
Techtonics Tuning: $295
Tantrumwerks: $260 (Same exact thing as LaBree...spin-off company and former emplyees)

it looks a lot like it? i mean.. they both look like a cat...

the thing with the GHL is that it carries CARB approval for those in cali.
