Im jus curious to know if any one has 18x9 on their car or have had it before....... If so post pics..... Im planing on buying rims this week and want to know if its a good idea or should I just go with 18x8.5....

i have 18x9 in the rear with a 225/40/18 tire on them here the best shot i have of them from the back when i still was running h&r race springs and bilstien shocks

had 245s on it but decided to strech and go 225

No pics of the 225 yet but here is 245s.

dont really know what your lookig for in a pic..

damn rob, what was the et of those wheels? I had to go stretched to make them fit because any wider and i would have rubbed like shit

it should say on the back of the wheels. I would love to run a 245 tire on my 8.5" wide

lol no, its a 2.0 Trek edition Golf with cams, p&p, exhaust and different valve springs. Fastest NA golf ive ever riden in. The owner also has a mk4 Jetta with APR stage 3

did you have to get your fenders rolled?? I worried about rumming... BTW car looks good...

did you have rubbing issues?? i have the same susp set up....

I'm running 235/40/18 on my 18x9" SSR GT3's w/ 31mm offset....No rubbing issues at all, and I"m on H&R sports and Konis

well i have a an et of 30 and no i had no rubbing issues except up front but only when i hit like major major bumps in the road other than that never rubbed

I had 9s w/ 235 in the rear was slammed and had no issues. check out my DPEs for sale

mine are rolled flat now as well because i have coils, its all about offset and rim width, you need to know the offset and the rim width to be able to choose a tire size
