Almost done guys, I had the dash kit done and the installed ended up fuckin it up with a tool so Ill have to add some more bondo and than smoothen it out..The paint color is a perfect match, NO its not a glittery black, it just looks that way because of the flash bouncing off of the non smooth surface. It's looking pretty sweet soo far. Let me know what you guys think, positive and negative!! Negative will help improve the image if you see something that I dont! Thanks!! Here are the pics soo far...

PS, CHECK OUT THE SEXY ASS BACKROUND!!!

very nice. I hope you did the bypass so you can watch while in motion. If i see another one of these things installed i may have to get one myself, lol.

oh and you can buy the hazard piece at the dealer brand new in black for $25 [;)] that trim was either offered in wood grain, black and in CF only, no silver.

can i not use the navigation when i want to listen to a cd???? i heard i have to keep alternating between them if i want to listen to or use the navi!!!

^ ok this is what happens...u have ur nav disc and and put in a destination, once you remove the nav disc the unit goes into a memory mode and can bring you to that destination without the map cd. You can than put in a media cd and listen to music. Now, if you wanted to change the destination, select a POI, or whatever, u would have to put the nav disc back in. The only downfall to the D3, but it WILL get you where you need to get w/o the nav disc if you dont need to change anything while in memory mode. Hope that helps...

What is involved in doing the bypass so you can watch while in motion?

Is that textured? I would sand it & paint it black. Other then that it looks sweet.

Check out avic411.com...great site and has step by step instructions on how to do the bypass...the bypass is extremely easy to do, you dont need to buy anything extra, you just modify

Hey how did you get it to sit in the factory hole nice and tight? is there brackets involved? I just sat my D3 in my dash to see how it would fit and it has a fair bit of room to move...

I have these double sided tape cushion blocks...i put one on each side, ill try to take a picture. It sits extremely tight, works great.
