insurance company? you aren't going to like how much all those parts add up to.
suck it up and call your ins.

Def go thrpugh insurance on that one. Gonna cost way too much if you dont. You can try Shokan but they dont really have a very good reputation and they are a little pricey. If you really wanna, start calling junkyards and see if they got parts

best way is buy a beater for 1000 around - so you can work on your car and take your sweet time and get it right.

Make a list of what you need with the correct part number

If it isn't that expesnive get them new - if the part is expensive get it from a part car or used part.

Don't go through shokan they like to rape you in the butt

Stay on the forms and craigslist on people who are going to part their car.

Get you car back together

Then sell the beater - save yourself a lot of cash and stress.

You can get all of the parts listed on ebay. I'd get the core support and ac parts there and find the headlights and bumper here in the classifieds.

When I smashed the front end of my A4 I ended up buying all new parts thru Mike at Purems. Since I live 5 minutes from his shop there were no shipping charges to deal with but I did have to pay tax. Cost wasn't actually as much as I thought it would be by the time I bought 1 fend, new S4 bumper, rad and rad support.

aytheory - only down side of buying a beater is the fact that he would have a 2nd DMV payment for registration and a 2nd insurance payment.

why would you have to register and insure a car just sitting in your driveway for parts?

^^^^ mike means the beater - you have to register the beater and insure it to legally drive it in California and I am sure this apples to every state

dadsauto dismantlers
they changed their name but they are on the west coast.
Pricing varies, if you call today they will give you one price then call tomorrow and it will be another.

got boost.

did the bumper you buy from the dealer come with the bumper support and impact absorbers?
