View Full Version : Scrape, or something more serious?

Okay, sometimes, when I scrape, even just a little bit, my driver side front fender edge where it is rolled like comes down some and gets "wavy" kind of... The edge sticks down occasionally with the raw edge. This shaves the outside edge of my tire and is screwing up the tread on the edge. Is this just an issue of being too low on crappy back roads or what? Sorry I don't have pictures of this, I'll get them up tomorrow, though.

Pretty much. Need to bring the suspension up a notch or two.

Have you had your alignment checked? If your alignment was symmetrical you would be rubbing both sides, wouldn't you?

Are the fender lips rolled fully vertical? I ran 235/45-17 Pilot Sports and had no rubbing issues.

Get your fenders rolled. You shouldn't be rubbing with just springs though. I have 0 finger gap in the front with 18 x 8.5 and rolled fenders and don't rub.

my fender edges are NOT rolled. they are at a 90* angle, this could be the problem. do i just take it to a body shop to get them rolled or what?
