Go through www.vvme.com. Their kits are really great and cost $90. I ordered one and it came from china in less than a week. I really suggest them. Installation is plug and play.

I have the VVME hid conversion kit. cheapest way to get this kit is to go to ebay, type in VVME and search - nothing will come up, click the search title and description. search again - this time it will come up with all of one sellers auctions (seller ID flashplus) this is VVME's ebay ID. their email address is HID@vvme.com. total shipped price is 99.95.
here is a pic - this is VVME 6k HID kit on the left and Visionbulbs "xenomatch" halogen bulbs on the right

what are you talking about...most people strap the Ballasts to the back of the headlight or mount it out in the engine bay somewhere...mine was a clean install and I'm pretty happy with it, most people can tell I have HID when the lights are on, not a real secret. thanks for the kind words though[down]

Where did you mount them?

djxtreme

i mounted them on the underside of the black plastic piece that acts as the frame around the headlight housind. in other words, they are face down, directly under the headlights.

I believe *all* OE HID headlamps in the US are required to be autoleveling.

Are those the stock headlights? As in Non-Projectors? If so, good luck not getting pulled over.

I am probably going to spend the extra money and order the Xenoflo kit from Audmods. Something about having my kit made in Korea at an ISO 9002 & E-mark certified factory is appealing to me. China has been pissing me off lately, plus I feel better supporting a company that caters to Audi's (audmods) than some universal one size fits all setup.

I am not knocking the quality of the vvme kit, I have heard nothing but good things from people running them less than a year. I am just saying where I would rather see my money go. Flashplus was voted #1 for highest quality HID kits on eBay.

i can totally see your point. i just had to do the "budget" setup myself. if it works and lasts ill be stoked, if not, lesson learned.

edit: i used vvme for the lower fogs, so if the stop working its not like im screwed, my low beam HID's are OEM.
