Can any A4 wrenchers tell me the way to retract the piston on the rear break caliper.Does it retract by screwing it in clock wise or counter clock wise? Any tips appreciated.

yeah, you have to screw it in while pressing..

you don't need to really press, screw it clockwise and it should go in.

i used needle plier and it took fooooooooreeeeeever. it was tough but it worked, no special tool needed.

No special tool needed ................................................. but it really helps

This tool from ECS Tuning makes the job so much easier and is not that expensive.

It costs about $42.00 unless you get it while it's on sale (I got mine for $34.00)

two pairs of large channel locks worked for me,

one to turn the piston, and the other to press it in
