I've always wondered why my car(1998) has full time drl low beams. I don't think I've ever seen another B5 on the road with the low beams on constantly. Any idea why this may be, or how to go about disabling it? The strange thing is, it's only the low beams that are constantly on, and not the corners or tails.

As far as I know the Canadian models came with daytime running lights... I don't know any other specifics... Just remember reading that somewhere...

Don't think I've ever seen one with DRLs either... Check your Owner's Manual for the fuse panel layout and see if there is a DRL fuse.

Are the on full strength or are they dimmer then the regular low beams? Do your parking lights stay on too?
