looking for a cheap torque wrench for doing simple repairs.. stuff like the 22ft/lbs for sparkplugs and 7ft/lbs for coil pack bolts... just wondering if you guys even bother to torque your sparks properly and if soo what wrench do you use.. i have a big one from like 30-250 ft/lbs, but i need a little side kick for him.. i'm replacing my valve cover gasket this week, i got some nasty smoke on the cat cause oil managed to drip on to it yesterday. can't have that happen anymore.. good news btw, vag-com ordered and shipped this morning!!!! woot!!!! this audi newb is steppin his game up!

check harbor freight. they have a 3/8's 10-150 lbs for like 20 bucks. for anything less than that you could get a 3/8's in inch lbs for like 10 bucks.

A torque wrench is a tool I do not like to "cheap out" on. I've made that mistake before on a cheap one. Ratcheting parts don't move properly anymore and I only used it a couple times before it broke. It's now my "breaker bar". I have since bought a craftsman 3/8" and never looked back. Gotta love Sears' way of warranty for craftsman products as well!
