BPV has nothing to do with the amount of vacuum made in the IM or on the gauge unless it has a leak on the vacuum side of the valve.

i guess my original had a leak =/

Yeah, seems like dukez has a leak somewhere too. He might also want to do a compression test too.

Still have the 007 in there. It's possible that its leaking. I need to find my old 710n and toss it back in. This 007 crap is garbage (to me). Next time we meet up, 12v, i'll have to compare our (007) valves.

Also when im building boost, it'll flutter. Example = 3rd gear @ 2000 rpms. I go WOT and the needle will bounce between 20 and 18 until its in the good boosted range (3000+). Thats probably a DV issue too right?

not necessarily.. check your inter cooler piping. the 007 shouldn't be leaking try cleaning it, also i dont know if this makes a difference but do you have the rigth spring in it?

I made another thread about my 007 valve (specifically): http://audizine.com/forum/showthread.php?t=151239

But anyhow, i'm running the lightest spring. I dont think the (my) valve is not right at all. But i need to compare it against another one to make sure. Intercooler huh, hmm.

Valve Spring color coding

Green - 5-15 PSI

Yellow - 15-23 PSI

Blue - 23-30 PSI

Post up some pics of it. the spring should go above the piston right under the cap maybe thats why you cant move it. I have a 007 and it works just fine.
