Looks pretty good. Try to score some one-piece headlights, that'll really improve the look of the car from the front.

Try to get less aggressive with the compression or whatever on your images. They're very pixelated/jagged.

Very clean. Could use a little lower stance but doesn't look TOO 4x4 with just the wheels on

yup looking good, but with some one piece lights and a drop you'll be looking a hell of a lot better though..

are those ADR's?

nice and clean, now drop it, paint lowers, and upgrade headlights.

i know it needs to be lowered...but in person it doesnt look as bad at all...the wheel gap isnt that big. i dont know if i want to lower it cause some roads in chicago are bad and im afraid i will bottom out sometimes.
if i did lower...do i need coilovers or just springs (i think i got that right) cause i would just lower it like an inch or a little over that.

not going to paint lowers, even though i really want to but every body shop says they wont paint them becasue of the plastic material.
and i want to upgrade my headlights....but i dont really want to have to cut the fenders in order to put the headlights in.

the wheels are asa ar2's by the way.

well I live in NH and I have race springs...about a 2" drop in the front. I dont really have any problems with bottoming out, you just have to go easy on the bad roads. Believe me the rodas are pretty narly around here.

And yes, you can just go with springs, you could just go with sport springs over the race springs. Sports usually have a drop between 1.2-1.5". If you plan on driving more aggressive in the future its smart to just wait and get coilovers but if not then springs will do you just fine...

As for the headlights, cuting the fender back to make room really sounds alot scarier then it really is. Theres countless DIY's you can study before you go at it. you just have to be patient and slowly cut a little of the fender away at a time. And even if it doesnt look as pretty as you would like, its covered by the headlight anyways.

And painting the lowers I'm not really sure about, your going to have to hear about that from the guys who have done it...

are you 1.8t or 2.8??

I actually have the 2 piece DEPO headlights off ebay because my car is black and I really liked the black housing.

But you can keep your eyes open in the FOR SALE section on here, audiforums.com and audiworld.com. Depo also sells my same headlights in the clear lens witch I think looks just as good. Theres a bunch of people on here who have them, hopefully they'll chime in....

I think a drop is all you need.

so what if you have "bad roads" .... hahah I live in oregon, you have no idea how bad my roads are, and Im slammed. [:D]

Trust me its worth it, but thats just my 2 cents.

i'm on just springs (neuspeed race springs) and it LOOKS decent, but it still has a bunch of body roll. right now i'm looking at getting sway bars and such to stiffen it up. if i lived in a place where we got more snow, i'd get coilovers, but we rarely see more than 2-4 inches here so i'll be okay when winter rolls around
