I just want to see how some A4's look with the different style roof racks since I'm in the market for a bike rack.

All I have is my A4 with the snowboard rack-

I have actually been looking for a roof rack as well so that when I take a trip in my car it would be better for weight distribution as opposed to putting all the luggage in the trunk.

Lets see some pics, as I need a roof rack also .................. [:D]

i have a yakima rack that i use to carry a road bike and a play boat... they always look sick on avants though. i'll get pics up soon. as far as fitment and durabilty go, yakima is the winner. i've worked in a few paddle and snow sport stores and the yakimas are always the top of the pile.

just my $0.02

i have a kayak but live on the water, if i had skiis/snowboard i have the hole in the armrest or id fold the seats down...so it's not very practical for me. though i have to admit that cars look tits with shit on top :p

I don't have any pictures at the moment but can try to get a couple. As to the racks I'm using Thule at the moment. I have three bike racks on my roof and have not had one problem at all. I can say that both Thule and Yakima are both worth the money and you can't go wrong with either of them. It really comes down to your own preference. I run the Thule 594 Sidearm (for my downhill bike) and two 598 Criterium for my 4X bikes. If you value your bike and car I would strongy say go with one of those two companies.

I used to have an awesome complete Yakima bike roof rack system about 2.5 years ago, then I sold it and regret it because it's hard to find...
