I think 19s look awful on B5s. Unless you get 30 series tires (which you would regret) it's going to look like a 4x4. Click on my sig picture. Those are 18s with 40series tires. IMO this size looks the best on B5s.

19's i don't like. 18's ftw...

When i see this picture of the black S4 on the road it reminds me of...

But i think 18's are the best size for the B5.

The 19's look sick! I have 18's for mine and wish they were 19's Should of gone that route. And they HAVE to be 8.5 in width.... fills out the wheel well. And these people saying its going to look like a 4x4...Please.. no way !..if you drop your car properly its going to look real nice.

eh, ive gone with 18" and lowered the fvck out of the b5 and still wish i went with 19s everytime i look at it, its big enough but with a big drop and a body kit, you want more!

i had 19" rims and it was like wow...
But i'm into speed and having a 35 series tire is not fun driving in nyc.
I sold them and now i have a 18" in my garage waiting to go on.

It can be done, but most of the time it looks like crap.

IMO:

18's are the best for B5's looks.

17's are the best for B5's performance.

Okay, I retract my previous statement. 19s can look good, but the car has to be low. Otherwise they're overwhelming IMO. I've ridden in cars with 35 series tires and I can't imagine owning them unless the roads where you live are perfect. To each his own. They'll fit. Get em!

the 19" rs4 reps are dope wheels.

19" wheels are the way to go...i had 18's on my b5, which are now replaced with 19" iforged senekas, and i havent looked back since

2.8tuner what size tires are those ? also, how cautious do you have to be while driving with the 19's?

the rims are 19x8.5 and 19x9.5 and i'm not too careful because the roads in my area are perfectly fine and the audi isnt my daily driver...it sits in the garage 90% of the time
